Our good friends the Marlatt’s are coming up north and we always do some interesting menus. Rae kindly ‘wine pairs’ to round out the experience. Here is the work in progress menu.
Friday – Lunch
- Adult Grilled Cheese Toasts with Celery and Cucumber sticks
- 2 bite brownies
Cocktails
Dinner
- Chilled KiWi and Melon Soup with Prosciutto Chiffonade and frozen melon drops
- Old fashioned surf and turf
- Russian potatoes (similar to scalloped potatoes but made with yogurt instead of bechamel sauce)
- Grilled Green Onions and Asparagus
- Mini chocolate cups with Chestnut purée and whipping cream
Snacks
- Roasted seasoned nuts
Saturday
- Breakfast
- Croissants, Coffee and 1/2 grapefruit
Lunch
- Mini Pizza and kitchen sink salad
- 2 bite brownies
Cocktails and Dinner
- A variety of tapas to last throughout the evening (small portions served in 3-4 rounds, about 10-12 courses altogether) (I will do another post with Tapas only).
- Strawberries, Madeleines and whipping cream
Snacks
- Roasted seasoned nuts
Sunday
- Breakfast
- Smoked Salmon, Bagels and Cream Cheese
