Charlie-Louie was gracious enough to give me this award. I am flattered that she has selected me (and four others) as blogs she finds educational and for that I am quite grateful. The only requirement of this award I was able to discover is that I have to call out to five of my most supportive and meaningful commenters. I don’t wish to leave anyone out, because I truly find everyone’s comments meaningful and I am so thankful for them. Because of your comments, my blogging has become more purposeful. Please don’t feel obligated to participate, I am just happy to share your wonderful blogs with others.
OK, so here we go,
Charles at Five Euro Foods, his support and his witty comments makes me want to review the comments on my blog at all hours of the morning (sometimes even at 4am!) ;-).
Kristy at Our Family Food Adventures my first Give Away Winner. It seems that Kristy and I share the joy of inappropriate footwear during inclimate weather!
Maria at Live Journal because she reminds me so often of my wonderful Hungarian heritage through food.
Chicago John at From the Bartolini kitchens because he consistently brings me back to my childhood with my own food memories.
and last but not least my good friend Barb from Profiteroles and Ponytails who recently started commenting; her comments are meaningful because we actually do know one another in real life.
Well, there it is. I think I am also supposed to tell you something new about myself, but I have nothing more to tell you. 😉
Charlie Louie who generously honored me with this award kindly brought to my attention that our good friends John and Charles may not be as smitten with the stiletto (however gorgeous it may be), so I have created a slightly more masculine version of this wonderful award. I hope that I haven’t offended anyone, it was unintentional.
Congrats to All! Thoroughly enjoy reading your blogs and learning from each and every one of you…

Thanks Kelly. I really enjoy your blog too and the nutritional information you always pair with the recipes.

Eva, you never cease to amaze me! That is one snazzy male version of the red shoe award!!! Thanks so much for the shout out! It has been great fun evolving from a lurker to a commenter — and now I get to connect with you more regularly which I am really enjoying. The thing is — I can really see you in those red shoes. I however would have a sore back for a week if I wore them!

Thanks Barb. I actually have a pair very similar without the glitter but they are red! They are my 25 metre shoes…I think I wore them to the KPMG event in 2010…
I’m glad you are enjoying the blogging. It’s so nice to connect with like minds in the virtual world.

Oh how politically correct of you Eva – now we have shoes for boys and girls! Very good of you. I didn’t think to do that (nor do I have the skills!)

To be honest Charlie, I took the image from Microsoft clip art and I colourized it in Photoshop…sadly it’s not working well on my Mac since my hubby updated to OS 10.7. I may just have to bite the bullet and upgrade the software…so expensive.

Bwahaha, Charlie’s comment – 😀
Thanks for the tag Eva – I must say, I was hatching plans to make a little photoshop montage of me inside that stiletto shoe, and now you’ve gone and made a masculine version! Oh well – probably for the best 😀 Don’t want to earn myself any reputation 😉

Very funny Charles. You might have to shave your legs to make it convincing!

Congratulations on your award. You certainly deserve it because you’ve taught me more than a few things about photography, presentation and food styling, which I hope to incorporate in future posts on my LJ.
You’ve also motivated me to make the Romanian and Hungarian recipes from my childhood that my mother used to make. I hope to be able to share even more of them with my Hungarian SIL and bi-national (is that a real word?) nephew one day. :0
Thank you for nominating me in turn. Though I won’t be participating (as the bloggers I follow and would nominate have been nominated for so many awards already and are busy with their very productive posts) I’m flattered to be mentioned by someone that I respect so much as a blogger.

Congratulations, Eva, for receiving this award, which you so richly deserve. Your series leading up to and including your trip to Morocco educated us all on the cuisine of this exotic country and I enjoyed it very much. I’m honored that you would consider me for this award and, once I can find appropriate foot wear, I’ll respond. 🙂

All great minds really do think alike. I, too, have created a more masculine version of the award. 🙂

Dangit, I was hoping John would have to display the stillettos. Still, great picks.

You can still use the stiletto award Greg, but you’d have to shave your legs!

Hi Eva, I was thinking of giving the red shoe to John and Charles as well but I wasn’t sure if they would like a red stiletto! I’ll look forward to checking out the other blogs I’m not as familiar with.

Yikes! I never thought of that, Charlie. I do hope they won’t be offended! But I’ll design a more masculine version for them! Thanks for the heads up.
